Today we would like to advise on how to properly conduct a player speed test via Google’s PageSpeed Insights. Many of you may know how your player ranks but for those who are curious and would like to find out, follow the simple steps below.
1) Find an iframe embed code for your player & extract the URL from it.
Example:
<iframe src="https://player-docs.adnium.com/demo/" frameborder="0" width="560" height="315" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Becomes:
https://player-docs.adnium.com/demo/
2) Visit Google's PageSpeed insight page at the following URL & input your embed URL.
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
